Photo Restoration: Tips and Tricks

A Layers Exercise

This beautiful print was a composite of several images in multiple layers.

Look at the Elements layered file and see how this unique print was made.

High Pass Sharpening

This is a great sample to try the High Pass Sharpening method.

It is advisable to first select and copy just the photo portion to a new layer (not the card), and only sharpen that photo. The card itself doesn't really need sharpening. However you can try it both ways.
